Day 1 - Barcelona

After a grueling 9 hour flight we have arrived in barcelona. Jetlag kicked our butts and after wandering aimlessly for about 30 minutes we finally found our hotel. The lack of any sign and the blue spray painted door totally threw us off. No AC but a lovely room and a nice little fan helped us get a couple of hours of sleep before we headed out. Anyway, I think its easier to show you what we have done thus far than attempt to tell you. Btw, spanish keyboards suck!

<---- This is our hotel´s main entrance, looks shady but the place is super nice, kinda like a B&B. After our nap we walked around la Rambla (a road) toward the coast. It´s been a relatively slow day, but nice. These images upload like one every year, but here you go are a few.

Here are a few pictures of the Barcelona Cathedral, evidently its been under construction for a long time. I dont think the pictures will do it justice, but I am worse with words than pictures, so they ll have to do.

These first two are pictures of the inside of the cathedral, the last one is a picture from the balcony of our room overlooking the street.

So seriously, it takes FOREVER to upload a picture from this computer. With that said, I am going to upload one more picture. After arriving at the coast, I expected I may see a topless gal or two, but the coast we were at had no beach. Evidently that did not stop these guys from walking down the street completely naked! Props to Mandy for catching this, unfortunately by the time I got my camera out they were kinda far, but still, WOW! I doubt that this is typical because there were a couple of native spanish speakers gawking along with us.
ENJOY!
Welp, I am spent dealing with this. I am going to head out to grab some tapas!! QUE VIVE!
